INFORMATION EVENING - MONDAY 13th FEBRUARY 7.30pm
There are many reasons to join the NSW RFS.
You may want to protect your families, your friends, your home and assets, your community, and your way of life.
You may think that being involved would not be possible however, no matter what your experience, there's a role for nearly everyone.
Monday February 13th, 7.30pm. The Kurrajong Brigade will conduct an information session on Membership at the Fire Station - Corner of Old Bells Line of Road and Woodburn St Kurrajong.
Come along for a relaxed evening to find out what being a member of the NSW RFS with a Rural Fire Brigade means.

The Bush Fire Season runs from
October 1 through March 31.
The 2016 "End of Financial Year" donation letter drop in the Brigade area raised over $3,000.
You may make Tax Deductible Donations to the Brigade at any time through
Basic Fire Fighter Training is underway for all who might be interested.
There are 14 modules that will be covered over the next few months. You can join at any time and pick up the earlier modules on the next time around.

It is your responsibility to prepare yourself, your family and your home for the threat of bush fire. You need to act decisively in accordance with your Bush Fire Survival Plan when bush fires threaten. Your survival depends on your preparations and the decisions you make.

The FireWise Program is a program designed to help educate members of the community of what to do to prepare themselves and property for a fire and what to do when you are threatened with a fire.
It also is designed to help members of the community to be informed of various Fire Danger Periods and what should and shouldn't be done within those periods.
