CHANGES IN BRIGADE CONSTITUTION

I have been appointed by the general meeting on the 3rd December 2007 to write to you informing you of your obligations with the introduction of the new Kurrajong Brigade Constitution. “Copy attached”There is a couple of changes that will affect you, the major change being in order to vote for field officers in any election, you must attend a minimum of 4 fire calls or training events along with 2 general meetings or a mix totalling 4 of fire calls and training events together with 2 general meetings during the preceding 12 months.
We are also trying to ensue that our pager and shed key registers are up to date, so if you have either a shed key or are possession of a pager, could you please ensure that you advise the Secretary as soon as possible. The information we will need is the key number as well the serial number of the pager.
On 8th.January this year we took delivery of a new single cab CAT7 to replace our existing CAT7. The Captain encourages all members to attend the shed to acquaint themselves with the new truck.
We would be delighted to see all members at the shed on the first Monday of each month at 7.30pm for our general meetings, and also any other Monday at 7.30pm in order that all our members can be acquainted with both regular and supportive members.
